Saddle Pads

Thinline SaddleFit 4 Life Segue Half Pad Review
I have to admit that I was skeptical about this Thinline Half Pad in the beginning. How could a saddle pad so thin actually work? However, I got one to try anyway because – let’s face it – not everyone has the luxury of having enough extra room in the fit of their saddle to accommodate a sheepskin pad.

After riding in this saddle pad, I found that it really did make a difference in the comfort of the horse – especially dressage. I did find that for a while one of my horses only preferred it in dressage. However, recently she has preferred it for both my jumping and dressage saddles.

I personally really liked the Saddlefit 4 Life Segue because you can use it more discreetly and don’t have to worry about getting the sheepskin dirty. However, the Saddlefit 4 Life Segue with Sheepskin roles is a fashionable way to comfort your horse without the bulk. This saddle pad is ideal if you have slight changes in your horse because it allows you to purchase shims to slighting adjust the fit of the saddle. I liked having the option for slight adjustments if I needed it. Especially since I have a young horse, expect her to change and don’t necessarily want to go through the expense of buying a new saddle (or in my case having the tree professionally adjusted) every time the mare has a growth spurt.
